The traditional, tongue and groove paneled storage chest was made for the foot of the bed. Crowd it with bed linens and knitted throws, or if it is in a guest bedroom, add in fluffy towels within the adjoining compartment. It is also just as happy spending its days as a toy chest in a child’s playroom. It does not get much more versatile than that.
